About Us

We are a community-driven movement committed to standing up against PG&E’s monopolistic practices and the constant rate hikes that are burdening families, businesses, and our future. Our mission is to fight for fair energy prices, hold corporations accountable, and protect local economies from being crushed under soaring energy costs. Together, we can demand transparency, advocate for change, and work towards a future where our energy needs are met without exploitation.

bOARD mEMBER

I’m a lifelong Californian, a mom, and a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience helping families achieve financial stability. I’ve built my career on trust, integrity, and long-term relationships and I bring that same passion to my advocacy work. After seeing firsthand how PG&E’s high rates, shutoffs, and corporate negligence are hurting everyday people, I helped launch the Stop PG&E movement. From organizing protests and speaking at CPUC meetings to supporting legislation like SB 332, I’m committed to holding PG&E accountable and fighting for a safer, more affordable, and people-powered energy future in California.

Scott Brown

bOARD mEMBER

I am a professional electrical engineer in the state of California.

PG&E has maliciously defied California’s utility safety codes in order to maximize profits for their shareholders. PG&E starts over 400 fires each year, on average. Their criminal behavior has killed 143 people in the last 15 years.

I believe that PG&E is a criminal organization that has lost the right to conduct business in the state of California. I am fighting to create a statewide public utility to manage our electrical grid in the public interest.

Dawn Warrior

Board Member

I dedicated Californian and long-time PG&E customer since 1983, Dawn Warrior has held various positions within PG&E, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by ratepayers. Witnessing the financial strain caused by astronomical utility rates —  forcing families to choose between essentials like food, healthcare, and energy — she became deeply committed to advocating for fairer, more accountable energy solutions.

Having recently retired from PG&E, Dawn is now focused on transforming the utility landscape by supporting the creation of a not-for-profit utility, one that is truly beholden to the ratepayers rather than stockholders. Her goal is to break up the monopoly and foster a more equitable, transparent, and sustainable energy system for all Californians.
