April 24th – March on Sacramento to Abolish PG&E

This April, people will come together in Sacramento for a statewide mobilization demanding an end to PG&E’s rampant greed, corruption, and negligence. We demand a people’s utility.

PG&E is a criminal enterprise. In the last 15 years, they have been found guilty of 91 felonies, have killed 140 Californians, have started thousands of fires, and have doubled our electricity rates, while their shareholders have raked in billions. There is no reason to allow this company to continue operating their business in California.

California has the power to revoke PG&E’s business license and establish a not-for-profit utility — a people’s utility — called Golden State Energy. The state legislature has the power to pass a bill and make this a reality… but 98% of lawmakers have taken money from for-profit utility companies, and they won’t fight for us, so it’s time we fight for ourselves!

We can only topple PG&E and reclaim our power by building an independent movement that can’t be ignored! Join us at the CPUC Meeting on Thursday April 24th at 11am, and in the streets outside the Capitol Mall at 2:30pm! Abolish PG&E! Golden State Energy Now!
